Oops, wrong watch
All I can say is I ordered this accidentally, and have since rectified the issue. Don't get this ancient version of an otherwise excellent and up-to-date watch. I despise tiny light bulbs in wristwatches!

Retro, practical and affordable
I recently purchased this watch and I really like it. As a female, I like wearing over-sized men's watches. I wasn't sure if this one would look gaudy or strange, but I think it looks just right.

The only complaint I have is that the band is a bit flimsy, but hey, you get what you pay for. For it's not bad, not bad at all.

Almost ten years of service...
I purchased this watch in 2000, shortly before leaving for a three-month stay in Rome. The owner's manual said that the battery was good for seven years. Perhaps because I don't use the hourly chime, my watch still hums on using the original battery. My only complaint about this great watch is that it gains about five seconds a month. Some complaint, huh?

The reason I did the search for this watch today is that I was curious as to whether it still is available...that darned battery is going to give up the ghost sometime! I was very happy to see that it still is available, and I hope it still will be if and when this battery ever does give out. (Yes, I would replace the watch, rather than the battery.)

Casio digital Watch
Watch is a very thin digital. Besides time, it has a an alarm and a stop watch function. The only limitation is that although the case looks like metal (chrome) it is plastic. If the case hits something hard or sharp, the band bracket breaks.

Old Favorite Casio Digital Watch
I have a 30+ year-old Casio digital watch that has served me well. It keeps time better than any other watch or clock in our house. Its crystal is very scratched, so I ordered the Casio Men's Classic Digital Bracelet Watch #A158W-1 from Amazon to replace it. This watch is very much like my old watch, and appears to be just as reliable and accurate. What a great watch! and the price is right too! Since it's digital, so it's great for geeks like me. As usual, Amazon shipped it to me promptly and in good condition.

Good Value!
My quest was for a watch with a shiny link metal band and a blue dial. I did not care about the brand, but now after only a month, I do. Upon arrival, the actual watch did not look as nice as the picture shown. The actual watch is a good value for the amount I paid, but if you are looking for a watch that will not easily scratch or keep accurate time, this is not the one. Would I buy another watch in this brand? NO.

Good Value
A nice watch with all the features that most watches of this type have. It's a little thinner than others I have had so it's more comfortable to wear.

One weak point is that the crystal is made of a softer plastic than most so you have to be careful not to scratch it.

I've only had it for a couple of months so time will tell how it fares in the durability department.

Fulfills my purpose of purchasing it
My purchasing of this watch was to essentially change long term habit by constant rememberance of a particular idea every hour then every 30 mins then every 15 mins in a standard way. The hourly signal beep helped me and the lap counter of 60 is sufficient for 15 hrs with 15 mins interval pratice making this watch suitable. Recall function allowed me to put exact times of day i remembered and create visual graph

The display is dark blue which i love as its the color of my God Krishna.

Ok watch, poor band
Watch is ok, it was what I expected. The zoom viewing on Amazon helps to make a good choice online for a small product such as a watch. Where this product really didn't meet expectations was the band. The quality of the band is very cheap. The screws that you remove to adjust the length were so bad that I was not able to remove a link. The manual that came with the watch did not have instructions for adjusting the band and I could not find any.
Also, I have begun receiving spam to my email since I ordered this watch.

Cheap watch - you get what you pay for
When I got this watch, i was surprised by the plastic dial 'diver's' ring that doesn't move. But despite this appearance it looked good on the outside, until you bump into anything. It scratches like cheap plastic and then becomes harder to read. I have had this watch for 3 weeks now and scratched it 4 times. I bumped into the wall again today while carrying something up the steps - it left a mark.

BEWARE - do not buy this 'mineral' watch face. It is plastic. It scratches very easily. I plan to return/buy a better watch next time, and by that I mean next week.
